Job DescriptionIf your skills, experience, and qualifications match those in this job overview, do not delay your application.Field Technician Blackpool (Full Training Provided, Site Based)People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Field Technician to join our well-established client based in Blackpool on a full-time permanent basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a Field Technician who enjoys site-based work, is confident dealing with people face to face, and is looking to build a long-term career as a Field Technician within a growing technical business.No previous surveying or technical experience is required, as full training is provided.Hours Monday to Friday 09:00 17:00Salary 26,000 27,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Benefits Full training provided no prior experience required Long-term career development within a growing technical business Modern working environment and specialist equipment Supportive and collaborative team Company pension scheme Opportunity to work on a variety of sites across the UKDay-to-Day Duties Attending customer and construction sites to capture building and spatial data using specialist equipment Assisting with the setup, deployment, and maintenance of technical and environmental sensors Uploading, processing, and checking captured data Carrying out basic quality checks before data is passed to technical teams Preparing information for handover to BIM and modelling teams Following all health & safety, GDPR, and company procedures Liaising confidently with site staff, clients, and internal teams Maintaining equipment and reporting any faults or issuesEssential Skills Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Confidence communicating face to face in a site-based environment Experience in a site-based, field, construction, warehouse, technical, or hands-on role, or a strong interest in this type of work Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems Strong attention to detail with an organised approach Practical, hands-on mindset Willingness to travel regularly to sitesDesirable Experience Exposure to construction, engineering, surveying, or technical environments Experience using tools, equipment, or technical systems Basic understanding of technical drawings, CAD, or BIMTraining Provided Full training provided from day one Ongoing development and progression supportApplyIf you are looking for a site-based role with full training and long-term career prospects as a Field Technician, apply today and a member of the People Solutions team will be in touch. xjdpvnf People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.
