Do you take pride in accuracy, traceability and doing things properly?We're supporting a well-established Telford Service Centre that calibrates and maintains precision mechanical and dimensional measuring equipment used across manufacturing, aerospace, automotive and engineering environments.What you'll be working withYou'll be hands-on with equipment such as:MicrometersVerniers & calipersDial & height gaugesTorque wrenches & torque toolsPressure & displacement instrumentsDimensional and mechanical fixturesMost work is lab-based in Telford, with occasional customer site visits (typically less than 25%).What you'll be doingCalibrating, validating and verifying instruments to ISO 17025 standardsCarrying out technical fault-finding, adjustments and repairsCompleting calibration certificates, traceability records and reportsWorking to defined calibration procedures and quality standardsCommunicating with customers and internal teams on calibration statusWhat we're looking forYou'll come from a mechanical, dimensional or torque calibration background, such as:UKAS / ISO17025 calibration laboratory (highly desirable)Manufacturing metrology or calibration servicesService or calibration laboratoryYou'll be comfortable using precision measurement tools and working in a structured, accuracy-driven environment. xjdpvnf Why this role?Work with high-precision equipmentStable, lab-based role in TelfordLong-term contract with strong extension potentialFriendly, professional engineering teamIf you enjoy precision measurement, care about accuracy and traceability, and want to work in a professional calibration environment, this role is for you.Apply now!
