The Role: Empowering FamiliesIn this role, you won't just be managing a caseload; you will be an advocate for "family-first" placements. You will work with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and close family friends who have stepped up to provide a loving home in times of crisis.Your Key Responsibilities:Viability Assessments: Conducting initial assessments to determine if a family placement is safe and sustainable.Reg 24 & Form F: Completing robust, high-quality assessments for temporary and long-term fostering approval.Special Guardianship (SGO): Guiding carers through the SGO process to ensure legal permanence for children.Support & Supervision: Providing ongoing guidance to kinship carers to help them navigate the challenges of their new roles.?
