Job DescriptionIncrease your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.Electrical Maintenance SupervisorDoncasterSalary 50,20040 hours per week, typically worked over 4 days, Monday to FridayElevation Recruitment Group is working with a manufacturing business in Doncaster to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor.The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will lead day-to-day electrical and mechanical maintenance activity, including fault finding, planned maintenance and project work, while supporting the Maintenance Manager.The RoleAs Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will:Supervise electrical and mechanical maintenance across breakdowns, planned maintenance and project workLead fault finding and repair activity to minimise downtimeWork with PLC controlled equipment as part of ongoing maintenance and fault diagnosisEnsure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety proceduresIssue and manage permits for employees and contractorsPlan and manage maintenance workloads, including contractor activity on siteMaintain accurate records using maintenance reporting systemsRead and interpret multi-discipline engineering drawingsIdentify and maintain critical spares stockCreate and work to risk assessments and method statementsSupport investigations and technical meetings when requiredCover for shift absence when needed and maintain strong housekeeping standardsThe PersonTo be successful as an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will need:Electrical qualificationProven experience working with PLC controlled machineryIOSH certificationExperience in heavy industry and automated environmentsPrevious experience supervising or leading engineersGood organisational skills and attention to detailThe ability to work at heights and in confined spacesAbout ElevationElevation Recruitment Group is a specialist recruitment consultancy that helps people build long-term, successful careers.
