CANDIDATES WITH CURRENT, ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE OR HIGHER ONLY The Service Transition Manager is responsible for ensuring that new and changed services are transitioned into live operation in a controlled, compliant, and effective manner. Operating within an ITIL-aligned environment, the role acts as the bridge between Project Delivery and Live Service, ensuring that services handed over from Project Managers meet required operational, security, and service management standards and are fit for purpose for both internal users and external customers.The role ensures that services are supportable, resilient, secure, and aligned to agreed service levels from day one.Strong experience as a Service Transition Manager or similar service management roleSolid practical knowledge of ITIL (v3 or v4) and service lifecycle managementExperience transitioning services from project delivery into live operationExperience working in Microsoft-centric environmentsStrong understanding of operational support models and service assuranceProven stakeholder management xjdpvnf and communication skillsBehaviours & AttributesDetail-focused with a strong sense of operational accountabilityConfident challenging delivery teams to protect live service qualityPragmatic and outcome-driven, balancing governance with delivery paceComfortable operating across technical and non-technical audiences
