Job DescriptionCheck all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.Manufacturing Engineer (NPIDepartment: New Product Introduction (NPI)Reporting to: NPI Quality LeadLocation: LlayPermanent, Full - TimeCompetitive Salary & BenefitsWe are working exclusively working with a global manufacturing company who are looking for a proactive engineer with hands-on manufacturing experience who can drive new products from concept to production while ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.As the NPI Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for leading the industrialisation and implementation of new aerospace components from design release through to full production.This role ensures robust, capable, and compliant machining processes are developed, validated, and production-ready.Working within a cross-functional team, the NPI Manufacturing Engineer will support process development, first article activities, and continuous improvement to achieve on-time delivery and quality requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead manufacturing process definition and industrialisation for new productsDevelop and maintain routings, process flows, and work instructionsDefine CNC machining strategies, tooling, and fixturingSupport CAM optimisation, cycle time reduction, and process stabilityPlan and execute process validation and prove-out activitiesSupport First Article Inspection (FAI) and capability assessmentsEnsure processes meet technical, quality, and production requirementsCollaborate with Engineering, xjdpvnf Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teamsQualifications & SkillsDegree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience)Experience in CNC machining and manufacturing engineeringKnowledge of process validation, tooling, and industrialisationAbility to interpret engineering drawings and specificationsFamiliarity with FAI and aerospace quality standardsStrong problem-solving and communication skills
