They are currently looking for an Wire Harness Technician to join their team.Wire Harness Technician Roles and Responsibilities:Work on a variety of projects across the motorsport and automotive sector both on and off vehicles, where your input will directly contribute not only to the successful delivery of projects but also to support the success and growth of the businessManufacture motorsport and automotive electrical harnessesWork alongside and collaborate with the engineering teamProvide support for harness and electrical system design development and buildResponsible for builds of low and high voltage assemblies and enclosuresThe ideal Wire Harness Technician will have:Previous experience in automotive, motorsport or aerospace environmentPrevious experience with wiring harness manufactureThe ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and harness manufacturing drawingsMust have experience with the following techniques: Wire wrapping/twisting, Moulded parts/ System 25 and Service loopsKnowledge of connector systems, wire types, and sleevingThe ability to work to automotive and/or motorsport wiring standardsExperience working with high voltage cables and connectors (Desirable)Knowledge of end of line testing (E.G Cirris) (Desirable)Company benefits:Highly flexible working arrangements availablePension schemeUniform/workwear and tools providedRelevant training providedJackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 26 years.We strive to provide the ultimate consultancy service to all our candidates.
