Job DescriptionIs this the role you are looking for If so read on for more details, and make sure to apply today.Engineering InspectorLocation: Medstead, AltonJob Type: Full-time, PermanentMarket 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Engineering Inspector on behalf of our client based in Medstead, Alton.Main Purpose of the RoleTo inspect, monitor and ensure that products conform to customer-defined specifications and engineering drawing requirements, maintaining the high standards expected within the aerospace industry.Roles & ResponsibilitiesInspection of aircraft components, ground support equipment and raw materialsUndertake first-off and final inspection of machined parts and assembliesPerform-in-process quality inspections and maintain accurate inspection recordsProduce and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRS)Complete supplier components inspections and FAI buy-offIdentify and report non-conformances and support resolutions activitiesWork closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issuesEngage with customers and supplier quality representatives where requiredAdditional ResponsibilitiesParticipate in audits, quality system reviews and customer inspectionsEnsure all inspections equipment is calibrated and arrange re-calibration when requiredExperience, Skills & QualificationsMinimum 3 years experience in Quality Inspector roleStrong knowledge of AS9100 & AS9102 standardsAbility to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&TUnderstanding of machining and assembly techniquesGood communication skills, both written and verbalwillingness to travel within the UK if requiredWorking Pattern & BenefitsHours: Monday to Friday, 8.30-17:00 (30-minute lunch break)Benefits:Opportunity to work within a high-quality aerospace environment.Stable, full-time role within an established business. xjdpvnf Salary: 35,000-38,000Market 36 Recruitment Ltd cover a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Engineering, HR & Finance and IT.
