This role involves programming (preferred but not essential), setting and operating CNC lathes producing high-quality components in a range of specialist materials.Key ResponsibilitiesProgramming (where applicable), setting and operating CNC sliding-head and multi-axis fixed-head lathesProducing precision components from stainless steel, aluminium and exotic metalsMachining bar diameters ranging from approximately 1mm to 200mmInterpreting engineering drawings and ensuring strict quality standardsOptimising machining processes for efficiency and accuracyMaintaining safe working practices and equipment careSkills & Experience RequiredProven CNC turning experience in a precision engineering environmentStrong setting and operating capability; programming experience advantageousFamiliarity with Fanuc controls highly desirableExperience working with a variety of metals including stainless steel, aluminium and exotic alloysAbility to work xjdpvnf accurately to tight tolerancesReliable, detail-focused team player with good problem-solving skillsWhats on OfferPermanent, full-time weekday position (40 hours)Stable opportunity within a reputable engineering environmentVaried technical work with modern CNC equipmentSupportive team and opportunities for ongoing development
