This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, variety in their working environment, and nationwide projects.The position involves regular UK travel with 2-3 nights away per week on average (not every week), depending on project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation, assembly, servicing, and repair of mechanical equipment and systemsDoor Installation ExperienceWorking from engineering drawings, schematics, and specificationsCarrying out fault-finding, adjustments, and mechanical repairs on siteUse of hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely and effectivelySupporting site activities to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standardComplying with all health & safety procedures and site regulationsCompleting job documentation, reports, and paperwork accuratelyWorking independently or as part of a small site teamSkills & Experience RequiredProven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar mechanical engineering roleStrong mechanical knowledge with a practical, hands-on approachAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawingsComfortable working on customer sites across the UKWillingness to stay away from home when requiredGood problem-solving skills and attention to detailFull UK driving licenceDesirable (but not essential) xjdpvnf Experience working on industrial or construction sitesRelevant mechanical qualifications or apprenticeshipsCSCS card or similar safety certificationExperience working in customer-facing environmentsWhat's on OfferCompetitive base salary of 37,000OTE of 40,000-42,000 through overtime and travel-related earningsVaried UK-wide work with paid travel and overnight staysLong-term, stable employment with development opportunitiesSupportive team environment and structured onboardingIf this position is of interest send your cv .
