Join the UK's premier parcel & post delivery company The Van Management Team plays a key role in ensuring our van network runs efficiently, reliably and with outstanding service levels. As an Optimisation Analyst, you'll help drive smarter routing, improved utilisation and data-led decision making that enhances operational performance across our OOH & SME collections network. What You'll Do You'll support the Depot Transport Planning & Performance teams to identify optimisation opportunities and improvements across our van network. Your work will directly shape how we route, plan and insource collections, and you'll help set targets, SLAs and cost expectations that keep our network running at its best. Key Responsibilities Collate and analyse operational reports on a route and driver basis, summarising insights for the wider network. Partner with Reporting & Analytics to identify underutilised routes and recommend improvements. Work with Depot Transport Planning to test new routes and initiatives to enhance CPU and service levels. Assess suitability for new collections to be insourced and support related decision-making. Manage ParcelShop van servicing requirements with planning teams and the ParcelShop Admin Team. Use internal and external MI to identify issues across service, compliance and claims, challenging depots and third-party providers on KPI performance. Work with depot and third-party stakeholders to create and implement efficiency and quality improvements. Provide remote and onsite support, including training, coaching and mentoring on van network processes. Attend monthly Depot Area Manager meetings and drive performance through action logs. Support planning and depot teams in creating new or revised van routes and delivering peak period plans. What We're Looking For Good educational credentials Experience in logistics, ideally in a van-based environment Experience working in a target-driven environment Logistics optimisation and cost improvement experience Working knowledge of Power BI Previous project involvement, ideally as primary point of contact Ability to interpret management information Strong data insight skills with the ability to shape operational solutions Technical capability using systems such as Python to build MI databases Proactive and improvement-focused approach Ability to influence depot stakeholders and support change implementation Ability to collaborate with Depot Transport Planning teams to improve routing What We Can Offer You We're proud to offer a workplace where everyone can thrive.
