Service Manager Fire Safety Our Client is seeking an experienced Service Manager for Fire Safety to lead and manage the delivery of fire safety services across the housing portfolio. About the Role The Service Manager will be responsible for the overall delivery and strategic development of the fire safety service , ensuring compliance with fire safety legislation and maintaining high standards across council housing. The role includes leading teams, managing budgets, improving services, and implementing fire safety strategies. Service manager - Fire safety Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of the fire safety service Develop and implement fire safety strategies and policies Manage service performance, budgets, and staff teams Oversee fire risk assessment programmes and compliance activities Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high standards of fire safety Provide technical advice on fire safety compliance and legislation Support the delivery of fire safety works programmes across housing stock Produce reports and monitor performance relating to fire safety compliance The client is looking for someone who has: Experience working at senior management level in a complex organisation Experience managing teams and driving service improvement Strong knowledge of performance management and risk management Experience managing budgets and delivering operational strategies Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Qualifications and requirements Degree level qualification or significant relevant managerial experience HNC/HND in Building Studies, Construction, or Building Surveying (desirable) NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management or equivalent Working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm If you feel you have the correct skills please apply via CV TPBN1_UKTJ
