Freight Operations Specialist Location: Worcestershire Salary: Up to 35,000 Job Type: Full Time Office Based We are recruiting for an experienced Freight Operations Specialist to join a well-established and growing UK freight forwarder based in the Worcestershire area. This is a hands-on, start-to-finish role with a strong focus on road freight import and export operations, offering the opportunity to develop into a fully multimodal operator with exposure to air and road freight (full training provided). The role includes: Start-to-finish management of sea, air and road freight import and export shipments Handling customs clearance and all associated documentation Liaising with customers, overseas agents, carriers, and suppliers Arranging final delivery and transport Resolving operational issues professionally and efficiently Accurate job costing and invoicing Supporting air and road freight bookings as part of multimodal development Making consultative outbound calls to customers to support service delivery and growth Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience in freight operations (imports and/or exports) Solid understanding of international freight forwarding processes Customs clearance experience Confident handling files end to end Organised, detail-focused, and customer-driven WR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
