Operations ManagerSouth West & South England | Full Time | PermanentA growing engineering services business is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee three busy regional depots located across Bristol, South London and Cornwall.Reporting into senior leadership, the Operations Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day operational performance of multiple depots, ensuring the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of services across people, projects and processes. This role will play a key part in supporting continued business growth and operational improvement.The position will involve regular travel between depots and close collaboration with depot managers, engineers and support teams.Key ResponsibilitiesFull operational oversight of three regional depotsLeading, mentoring and supporting depot managers and operational teamsEnsuring consistent service delivery aligned with safety, quality and performance standardsManaging workload planning, resource allocation and operational schedulingDriving health and safety compliance and continuous improvement initiativesManaging subcontractor performance and supplier relationshipsMonitoring KPIs, budgets and operational performance metricsSupporting business growth through operational efficiency and process improvementSkills & ExperienceProven experience within an Operations Manager, Operations Coordinator or Service Management roleBackground within backup, standby, temporary or critical power generation environmentsStrong technical engineering background with hands-on diesel generator maintenance experienceDemonstrated leadership experience across multiple operational sitesStrong understanding of health and safety compliance and operational best practiceExcellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel regularly between regional locationsFull UK driving licence requiredRight to work in the UK essentialAbility to pass background and security checksSalary & Benefits£45,000 - £60,000 DOEUp to £500 per month car allowanceContributory pension scheme22 days holiday (rising to 25 days after year one) plus Bank HolidaysCareer development opportunities within a growing engineering organisationExposure to a diverse client base and complex operational environment
