Senior Mental Health Nurse (Band 6 Equivalent) Full Time | Permanent | Remote (with occasional travel) Salary: Up to £50,000 + Car AllowanceWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our Nursing Mental Health Team, supporting supported living and residential services across the organisation.This is a primarily remote role with occasional travel required for meetings, service reviews, and training. It offers the opportunity to work at a senior clinical level while maintaining flexibility and autonomy.The RoleAs a Senior Mental Health Nurse, you will provide clinical oversight, leadership, and specialist mental health support across supported living and residential settings. You will play a key role in promoting recovery-focused, person-centred care while ensuring high clinical standards and regulatory compliance.You will work closely with service managers, support staff, external professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure individuals with complex mental health needs receive safe, effective, and responsive care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide senior clinical guidance and oversight to supported living and residential servicesSupport risk assessment, crisis management, and care planning processesOffer specialist advice on complex mental health presentationsStrengthen clinical governance and ensure adherence to best practice standardsDeliver training, mentorship, and clinical supervision to staff teamsLiaise with external professionals including CMHTs, crisis teams, and inpatient servicesContribute to service development and quality improvement initiativesEssential RequirementsRegistered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registrationSignificant post-qualification experience in mental health servicesStrong background in Crisis Team, Community Mental Health, or Acute settingsExperience supporting individuals with complex and high-risk presentationsSound knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and clinical governanceExcellent communication and leadership skillsFull UK driving licenceWhat We OfferSalary up to £50,000 (depending on experience)Car allowanceRemote working with structured autonomyFull-time permanent contractOpportunities for professional development and career progressionSupportive and forward-thinking clinical leadership teamThis is an excellent opportunity for a confident and experienced mental health nurse with a crisis, acute, or community background who is ready to step into a senior clinical role with strategic impact.To apply or request further information, please submit your CV and a brief supporting statement outlining your relevant experience.
