Quality Technician:Location: Keighley, Yorkshire (on-site)Employment Type: Full-TimeSalary: £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experienceAbout the Role:ACL Hygienics, part of Tridon EMEA Ltd., is a trusted European manufacturer of hygienic components serving the pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries. We are currently seeking a Quality Technician to support and strengthen our quality assurance processes.This role is central to ensuring that our products consistently meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements before reaching our customers. The Quality Technician will work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to maintain compliance, support audits, and drive continuous improvement across the business. Key Responsibilities:Inspection & Testing:Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.Perform quality checks using approved metrology equipment, including CMM, digital calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools.Record, analyse, and trend inspection and test results, identifying anomalies or areas of concern.Documentation & Reporting:Manage customer quality concerns, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and corrective action documentation.Prepare quality reports and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.Report non-conformances and support investigations in collaboration with relevant departments.Process Monitoring & Systems:Accurately record, track, and report data relating to quality, safety, and compliance.Support the management and continuous improvement of quality-related systems and processes.Generate reports and trend analysis to monitor system performance and quality metrics.Compliance & Standards:Ensure adherence to internal quality procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Support compliance with industry standards and certifications such as ISO and GMP.Participate in internal and external audits and assist with audit preparation.Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.Identify opportunities for process optimisation, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements.Support the creation, implementation, and review of standard operating procedures (SOPs).Take ownership of key quality processes and contribute to long-term improvement projects.Key Requirements:Experience & Knowledge:Previous experience in a quality assurance, quality control, or related role.Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma.Strong understanding of quality standards and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO, GMP).Skills & Competencies:High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in using inspection equipment and quality systems/software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.Additional Requirements:The role involves manual handling of materials and products weighing up to 20kg as part of normal duties.
