This role is hands-on and build-focused, working on the assembly, wiring, strip-down and rebuild of electrical equipment to engineering drawings and schematics.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys practical build work rather than site-only maintenance.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical assembly and wiring of equipment in a workshop environmentControl panel wiring, termination and testingWiring of single-phase, three-phase and DC systemsStrip-down, rebuild and modification of electrical equipmentInterpreting schematics, wiring diagrams and drawingsElectrical testing and fault findingSupporting commissioning and quality checksWorking to high safety and quality standardsEssential ExperienceProven experience in electrical assembly, wiring or build workStrong background in control panel wiring / equipment wiringAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagramsElectrical testing and fault-finding experienceComfortable working in a workshop / manufacturing environmentDesirable (Not Essential)IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification (or willingness to obtain)Experience with loom / harness / cable assemblyATEX / CompEx backgroundOil & Gas, subsea or industrial equipment experienceWhats on OfferCompetitive ratesImmediate or short-notice start availableStable workshop-based workOption to transition to permanent after initial 4 - 6 month contract (extending the contract can also be an option).Opportunity to upskill (including IPC certification)Supportive team and long-term prospectsHow to Apply and interview processThe client are able to offer successful applicants a contract off the back of a one stage interview, please apply with an up to date CV if this could be of interest.
