Due to continued growth and recent capital investment in new CNC turning equipment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and expanding business.The role will involve programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machinery, producing precision components to exacting quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set, and operate CNC turning machines to produce components to specificationWrite, edit, and optimise CNC programs using G-code and CAM software (Fusion 360)Machine stainless steels, particularly 17-4PH, applying correct feeds and speedsOperate machines with Fanuc controlsRead and interpret engineering drawings and work to ISO tolerancesSelect, install, and calibrate cutting toolsMonitor machining processes to ensure components meet quality and dimensional standardsIdentify and resolve machining or process issuesCarry out routine CNC machine maintenanceWork closely with engineering and quality teams to meet production requirementsEnsure delivery dates and internal milestones set by the Workshop Manager are achievedMaintain compliance with all health and safety proceduresCandidate RequirementsRecognised apprenticeship or equivalent time-served CNC machining backgroundStrong experience in CNC turning with programming, setting, and operating capabilityProven experience machining stainless steelsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh attention to detail and quality-focused approachPackage and xjdpvnf BenefitsCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)Profit-related annual bonusCompany pension scheme22 days annual leave plus bank holidaysFree on-site parkingEmployee recognition schemeOngoing training and development opportunitiesWorking HoursMonday to FridayDay shiftExperience & EducationCNC Machining: 3+ years preferredGCSE or equivalent preferredWork Location: In person - Southampton, HampshireFor more information, contact us at:Max Hawkins -Callum Wallis -
