Job DescriptionScroll down to find the complete details of the job offer, including experience required and associated duties and tasks.Electrical Design Engineer (Machinery & Packaging Equipment)Permanent PositionSalary up to 45,000 pa, depending on experience, plus yearly bonusLocation: St. Neots area (Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire)Own transportation is required due to the company locationOffice based - Monday to FridayWe're looking for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join a market-leading manufacturer of food processing & packaging machinery based in the St. Neots - Huntingdon - Cambridge area (Cambs / Beds).If you enjoy designing control panels, wiring schematics and electrical systems for automated machinery - this one's for you.What You'll Be Doing:Designing electrical schematics, wiring layouts & control panels (AutoCAD/EPLAN)Working alongside mechanical 'software teams on PLC/HMI integrationEnsuring compliance with IEC 60204, ISO 13849, BS7671Supporting testing, troubleshooting and production buildsWorking with LV (110-600V) and ELV (24V) systemsWhat You'll Bring:HNC/HND (or above) in Electrical EngineeringElectrical design experience within machinery / automationAutoCAD or EPLAN proficiencySolid understanding of PLCs, HMIs & motor controlDesirableExperience with Mitsubishi, Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCsKnowledge of industrial comms: Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, RS232/485If you're an engineer who loves automation and bringing complex machinery to life - we'd love to hear from you.HRGO Recruitment offers permanent and temporary jobs across the UK.
