We proudly provide Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care for up to 41 residents in a warm, welcoming environment.We are now looking for a skilled and reliable Handy Person to join our friendly team. You will play a key role in ensuring the home and its grounds are always safe, well-maintained and comfortable for residents, staff and visitors.What We Offer12.21 per hour20 hours per weekPaid PVG,Pension scheme,Uniform provided5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)Your RoleAs Handy Person, you will take pride in maintaining the care home to the highest possible standard. You will carry out a wide range of repairs and maintenance work, from small day-to-day fixes to supporting larger improvement projects. Your duties will include checking and maintaining equipment, ensuring safety systems and fire alarms are fully operational, and keeping the building and outdoor areas clean, safe and in good condition. You will monitor maintenance logs, manage minor installations, and work closely with the Home Manager to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
