Job DescriptionIf the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly.A Dorset based food manufacturing company are looking to recruit a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer for their production facility based in the Poole / Bournemouth area.As a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be part of a small team of shift engineers to provide engineering support to the production area and who are responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.The site is part of a group of sites/businesses across the UK who are on a significant path for growth and development and so opportunities to progress are very real.Role:Multi skilled, either electrically or mechanically biased will be consideredPanama shifts Days and Nights (12 hour)5.15 17.15 and 17.15 5.15Opportunity to work in a modern food manufacturerBenefits:Salary of c52kSubsidised canteenOnsite free parkingKey responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimisedEnsure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in fullEnsure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followedEnsure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMSWork closely with production staff to achieve daily targetsContribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvementsExperience and skills required of Maintenance Engineer:Qualified maintenance engineer with C&Gs or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC levelMulti skilled, electrically biased with some mechanical skills / xjdpvnf experienceApprenticeship trainedProactive attitude to solving issues and supporting productionManufacturing / production experience requiredTo applyIf you are an experienced multi skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge at a great company please apply, or if you need further information please contact Stuart Cooper.
