Job DescriptionIncrease your chances of reaching the interview stage by reading the complete job description and applying promptly.Multi-Skilled Maintenance EngineerDepartment: Engineering / MaintenanceAnnual Salary: 56,780Shift Pattern:4 on/off - 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6amEmployment Type: Full-Time, PermanentAbout the OpportunityWe are looking for a skilled and proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our Engineering team within a high-volume sauce production facility.You will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure maximum reliability, food safety compliance, and minimal production downtime.What Youll Be Doing?? Equipment Maintenance & ReliabilityCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production and packaging machineryRespond quickly and effectively to breakdownsDiagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faultsMaintain and repair:Mixing vessels and blendersPumps, fillers, cappers, and conveyorsPasteurisers, cookers, and heat exchangersPackaging and labelling machineryElectrical Systems & ControlsFault find on single and three-phase electrical systemsPLC fault finding (programming not required unless specified)Maintain sensors, motors, inverters, and control panelsEnsure compliance with electrical safety standards?? Quality, Hygiene & ComplianceWork in line with BRCGS, HACCP, and GMP standardsEnsure all engineering tasks meet food safety requirementsMaintain accurate maintenance documentationSupport audits and site inspections?? Improvement & InnovationIdentify opportunities to improve equipment performance and efficiencySupport installation and commissioning of new machineryAssist with root cause analysis and corrective actionsContribute to cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives??
