Job DescriptionAll candidates should make sure to read the following job description and information carefully before applying.Shipping CoordinatorLocation: Stoke-on-TrentHours: MondayFriday, 8:30am5:00pm The RoleDue to growth and workload, an existing combined role has now been split, creating an opportunity for an experienced Shipping Coordinator to take ownership of customer orders and global shipments from factory through to end user.This role sits at the heart of operations and involves managing customer orders with a strong coordination and project-management element. Youll work closely with internal teams, international factories, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end customer order process, from order entry through to deliveryAct as a key point of contact for customers regarding order and shipment statusCoordinate global shipments from factory to end user, ensuring deadlines and customer requirements are metLiaise with international supply chain partners and freight forwardersPrepare and manage shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork, etc.)Ensure shipments are aligned with agreed freight terms and customer-specific requirementsWork with the finance team to support different customer terms and payment arrangementsMonitor shipments, proactively resolve issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholdersMaintain accurate records within internal systemsEssential RequirementsBackground in manufacturing and/or engineering xjdpvnf Strong coordination and organisational skillsProven experience with international shipping and logisticsGood understanding of freight processes, shipping documentation, and trade termsConfident communicator, comfortable dealing with global suppliers and customersWhats on OfferCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)25 days holiday plus bank holidaysPension schemeStable, on-site role within a small and supportive team
