Job DescriptionApply fast, check the full description by scrolling below to find out the full requirements for this role.Job title:Fabricator WelderJob location:Ripley / HeanorWhat's in it for you?- Work for a growing business- Huge order book- Excellent rates- Exciting and varied work- 4 Day WeekShifts:Days4 day week (Monday- Thursday)Hours per week:39 BasicDuration:PermanentStart date:ASAPRate:Up to 18ph (PAYE)Position Summary:Experienced Fabricator Welder required to aid in the production of various large scalefabrication projects across a variety of industries.Candidates will be required to: Understand and work from engineering drawings Mark out and Fabricate as part of a team- according to engineering drawings- including rolling plate, use of oxy-acetylene to cut and manipulate material, tack and square fabrications.Understand heat placement and weld sequencing MIG Weld- undertake long runs in a variety of positions (uphill / overhead) Work with press brake, rollers, guillotine, notcher, punch, rotor broach and pillar drill as required.Candidates will have: City & Guilds or equivalent in a relevant Welding qualification. xjdpvnf Previous experience in coded welding Experience of MIG and TIG welding- Mild Steel / Stainless Experience of fabricating own jobs Experience of working with heavy and large scale fabricationsSuccessful candidates will be asked to attend a weld test.
