Job DescriptionThe experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.This organisation are working with cutting-edge technology in some of the most intense and challenging industries globally.They're seeking an experienced Lead ManufacturingEngineer who has experience in manufacturing / production environments - ideally for complex electro-mechanicalproducts.You'll be leading a small team of Manufacturing Engineers, to provide a high level of engineering support, at this world-class manufacturing facility near Middlesbrough.Overseeing activities such as production support, servicing, commissioning and FAT, new product introduction (NPI), introducing new equipment and technologies, achieving departmental KPI's, etc.Championing a culture of continuous improvement and constantly reviewing ways to improve quality and efficiency for the operation. Also leading on safety and compliance.Salary is up to 65,000 depending on your skills and experience, with an excellent range of company benefits including healthcare cover and enhanced sick pay.You should be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering subject e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Manufacturing, etc. and be trained in Lean / Six Sigma / Kaizen or similar.Ideally you'll be from a similar industry e.g. Defence, Aerospace or other regulated sector.
