This role offers an excellent opportunity for developing a career in a progressive global company.The RoleThe company is seeking a Assembly Operative, based within the Operations team to support with Factory tasks. This is a permanent position, based at our Grantham office, offering an excellent opportunity for developing a career in a progressive global company.Key responsibilities will include:Building a range of products from drawings. This includes cutting, welding, drilling, assembly work, cable crimping and some wiring.Operate production equipment mainly hand tools.Keeping the workstation clean to avoid hazards.Follow the companys Health & Safety and quality guidelines.Collecting and delivering materials as required.Forklift license and welding experience would be desirable but not essential.Assisting the factory supervisor.The CandidateThe Assembly Operative role would be a perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic individual within a relevant discipline keen to establish and progress a career in an engineering environment. Alternatively, a person with a successful track record in a similar role with an interest in the engineering and fabrication.
