Youll guide, motivate, and oversee your team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care, while maintaining accountability for all aspects of the residents experience.Your responsibilities include:Lead the shift: coordinate and support the team, ensuring smooth running of all care and operational tasksWrite care plans, complete reviews, and deliver personalised careOversee safe medication administration and complete MCA assessmentsChampion training initiatives, including Train the Trainer for moving & handling, and act as a Fire MarshalFoster effective communication with residents, families, and colleagues, ensuring a positive, accountable team cultureWho Were Looking ForInspirational leadership experience in a care settingProven ability in care planning, reviews, and delivering person-centred careExperience with medication administration and MCA assessmentsPassion for staff development, training, and safety initiativesStrong organisational, communication, and proactive problem-solving skillsConfidence to take ownership and be accountable for the running of the shiftAbout UsThe Amwell Care Home is part of Care Concern Group, a family-owned provider with over 130 care homes across the UK.
