Your leadership will ensure every room, every space, and every detail reflects the care, respect, and pride we have in our home.Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality, safety, and comfort that defines Hazelbrook Care Home.What we offer13.21 per hour, full-time (40 hours per week)5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time contract)Pension schemePaid DBSUniform providedOnsite parkingYour role as Head HousekeeperAs Head Housekeeper, you will lead and support the housekeeping team, ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the home.Your responsibilities will include:Leading, supervising, and supporting the housekeeping team to ensure high standards are consistently maintainedPlanning, organising, and delegating daily cleaning and laundry tasks effectivelyEnsuring residents bedrooms, communal areas, and facilities are clean, safe, and welcomingConducting regular quality checks and inspections to maintain excellent housekeeping standardsManaging stock, ordering cleaning supplies, and ensuring equipment is well maintainedSupporting the recruitment, training, and development of housekeeping team membersResponding promptly and professionally to requests or concerns from residents, families, and colleaguesEnsuring all housekeeping practices meet health, safety, and infection control standardsWorking collaboratively with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the homeMaintaining records and supporting effective budget management within the housekeeping functionWhat you will bringWe are looking for someone who takes pride in creating clean, comfortable environments and leading teams to deliver excellence.You will have:Previous housekeeping experience, ideally within a care home, healthcare, hotel, or similar environmentExperience leading or supervising a teamStrong organisational skills and attention to detailA good understanding of hygiene, infection control, and health and safety standardsThe ability to motivate and support others to achieve high standardsA proactive and reliable approach, with strong problem-solving skillsA warm, respectful, and professional mannerWhat you will be part ofHazelbrook Care Home is part of Willinbrook Healthcare, the specialist division of Care Concern Group, supporting over 130 services across the UK.
