Deputy Finance Manager Location: Coulsdon Job Type: Full-time | Fixed-Term Contract 6-12 months We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a financial savings company based in Coulsdon , who are looking to appoint an experienced Deputy Finance Manager to support the Finance Manager in overseeing the day-to-day finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional with strong technical knowledge and leadership capability, looking to take the next step in their career within a regulated financial environment. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the Finance Manager with the daily management of the finance department Overseeing transactional finance processes, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Assisting with month-end and year-end accounts preparation Producing management accounts and financial reports Monitoring cash flow and assisting with budgeting and forecasting Ensuring compliance with financial controls, policies, and procedures Supervising and supporting junior members of the finance team Acting as a key point of contact in the Finance Managers absence Using and maintaining the Sage accounting system Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in a senior finance role (e.g. Senior Finance Assistant, Assistant Finance Manager, Deputy Finance Manager) Strong working knowledge of Sage accounting software Experience preparing management accounts and supporting month-end close Solid understanding of financial controls and reporting Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across departments Desirable: Part-qualified or qualified accountant (AAT / ACCA / CIMA) Experience within financial services, savings, or a regulated environment Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Whats on Offer: Competitive salary, dependent on experience 40 hrs p/week, on-site Opportunity to progress within a growing financial services business Supportive and professional working environment Convenient Coulsdon location with good transport links Apply now to be considered for this Deputy Finance Manager opportunity.
