On behalf of Rolls-Royce who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a Manufacturing Technician for a 12 month contract based in Solihull working on a double days shift pattern. You will work as part of the Hydromechanical Bearings production team and play a critical role in the production of high-precision components for Rolls-Royces' Civil and Defence Aerospace businesses, ensuring components are of the highest standard, ensuring safety, customer quality and on time delivery following established working processes and quality procedures. You will report directly to the Production Leaders within the business. What you will do an a Manufacturing Technician: Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and working instructions to produce components to exact tolerances. Use a variety of hand tools. Perform in-process inspections using precision and variety of measurement tools. Collaborate with engineering, maintenance teams and team leaders to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during production. Be vigilant and highlight any concerns with product, material and measurement equipment which may affect customer quality or safety standards. Document production data, inspection results and non-conformances accurately, prioritising product safety. Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies to maintain a safe working environment. What we require from you: Experience in manufacturing operations & working in a production environment. Able to work to technical instructions and adhere to fixed process and quality standards. Ability to interpret engineering drawings. Knowledge & experience with inspection techniques.
