They are looking to recruit a Tooling Engineer on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain press tools to meet production requirements. - Liaise with the toolroom on projects - Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting to ensure optimal tool performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes. - Implement cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards. - Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and production staff. - Point of contact for Tooling projects with customer and Toolmakers Skills, Experience, and Education: Communication: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders. Knowledge/Expertise: - Proven experience in tooling engineering within the automotive sector. - Strong understanding of press tool design, development, and maintenance. - Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
