CNC Machinist Fantastic and unique opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist who enjoys variety within their work. As a CNC Machinist, you will primarily be responsible for the programming, setting, and operating of lathes (with some occasional milling but turning is the priority). The business typically manufactures smaller batches of components using mostly aluminum and stainless steel. Preferably you will come from a CNC turning background and be comfortable programming and using Fanuc / Siemens controlled machines. CNC programming is done online. Salary: 18.50 to 20.00 per hour as a guide. Hours: 40 hour week with flexible start / finish time. 32 days holiday including banks which rises by an additional day each year up to 36 days. Optional overtime available at x1.5 hourly rate. Additional bonuses paid. Health and well being cover. The CNC Machinist job would suit: An experienced CNC Machinist who is skilled at online programming, setting, and operating CNC machines for a range of projects. Comfortable using Fanuc and / or Siemens controls. We can be flexible for the right person who is willing to learn. Preferably from a CNC turning background. Milling experience would also be an advantage. Happy working within a small team and culturally aligned to help support across a range of wider tasks where required.
