HR Administrator 6-week contract Central Edinburgh (Hybrid Working) - no parking Our client, a globally recognised professional services organisation, is seeking a proactive and detail-driven HR Administrator to join their team to cover a sabbatical for 6 weeks. It is essential you can work in a fast paced environment. Based in a modern central Edinburgh office, you will initially be office based but there is the opportunity to work hybrid in this role. You will be required to attend the office Mondays and Wednesdays when working hybrid. Working as part of a passionate and supportive HR team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality HR administration across the UK & Ireland region. You will support a diverse workforce of engineers, scientists and functional professionals, ensuring smooth HR operations across the full employee lifecycle. Creating, maintaining and managing employee data, contracts and employment records Processing HR administration in line with payroll deadlines and lifecycle requirements Acting as first point of contact for the HR helpdesk Inputting data across multiple HR systems (including iTrent and Oracle) and producing reports Preparing and issuing contracts, letters and employment-related documentation Coordinating monthly HR activity and anticipating workload demands Liaising with managers, employees and HR colleagues across the UK and internationally Supporting compliance, approvals and validation processes Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance team efficiency About You Proven HR administration or HR helpdesk experience within a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadline-driven workloads Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Confident user of Microsoft Office (Word & PowerPoint; intermediate Excel skills essential) Experience with Oracle or iTrent would be advantageous Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and ability to work independently CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) desirable but not essential TPBN1_UKTJ
