Where appropriate you may be required to assist with basic food prep, such Kitchen Porteras peeling vegetables, and help with receiving and storing deliveries.Key ResponsibilitiesPeople Be an integral part of the kitchen teamAssisting with basic food prep, such as peeling vegetables, portioning ingredients etcRestocking clean plates, utensils, and kitchen tools to ensure chefs have what they need.Assisting chefs in setting up and closing down the kitchen at the start and end of service.Assisting with unloading and organising food deliveries, ensuring correct storage.Places Washing dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils efficiently using the dishwasher or by hand.Keeping kitchen floors, surfaces, and storage areas clean and hazard-free.Keeping kitchen equipment clean and well-maintained, including dishwashers, ovens, and fridges.Handling cleaning chemicals safely and ensuring proper sanitation of work areas.Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to managementMonitoring and refilling kitchen supplies, such as cleaning products, hand towels, and dish soap.PlanetEnsuring bins are emptied, and waste is disposed of properly, including recycling and composting.Following food safety regulations and maintaining high hygiene standards.Putting the planet in the forefront of all business decisionsTaking part in all company social responsibility initiativesBeing an advocate of all our our values Skills and Qualities Required:Hardworking & Reliable - Takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean and organised.Positive Attitude & Team Player - Willing to help in any way to support the kitchen team.Attention to Detail - Ensures all cleaning tasks are done to a high standard.Quick Learner - Adapts to new tasks and kitchen routines efficiently.Previous experience in a kitchen or similar environment is a bonus but not essential.Proactive with a strong work ethic.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Commitment to cleanliness and safety.Flexibility and reliability, with a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Professionalism and respect for others.Pay range and compensation packageCompetitive salary up to 12.60ph and discretionary bonus scheme1 free night stay annually at our properties, with generous employee discounts thereafter.Loyalty rewards and referral bonuses.Company sick pay scheme.2 paid volunteer days per year and annual fundraisers.Additional annual leave with length of service.Cycle to work scheme and use of gym facilities in our hotels.Access to activity workshops and an Employee Assistance Programme.Regular social activities.Click Apply to complete your application
