Hygiene ManagerHours: Monday to Sunday, 9:00am-5:00pmPay Rate: £23.07 per hourEmployment Type: Full-timeA new opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Hygiene Manager to lead an on-site hygiene team. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality cleaning and hygiene services, maintain compliance, and support continuous improvement across the site.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all hygiene services are carried out and maintained to the required standardManage hygiene staffing hours and ensure all expenditure is authorised and accurately recordedMaintain detailed cleaning instructions, schedules and risk assessments in line with BRC food safety standards and customer Codes of PracticeConduct compliance audits and inspections of hygiene standards and documentationOversee hygiene chemical usage, dosing equipment, and conduct chemical titration checksPromote and maintain excellent Health and Safety standards across the siteSupport microbiological investigations and projects to improve site hygiene performanceDeliver training and awareness sessions for hygiene and waste-handling staffAttend regular catch-up meetings and monthly KPI meetingsRequired Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum Level 3 Food Safety Qualification (Level 4 desirable)Previous experience in a senior hygiene management role within food or FMCG manufacturingStrong understanding of HACCP principlesHealth and Safety Level 3 QualificationProven leadership skills and experience managing diverse teamsExperience participating in BRC and customer auditsWhat We Are Looking ForA proactive and organised individualStrong communication and leadership capabilitiesAbility to work collaboratively with a diverse workforceCommitment to maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement The Best Connection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
