We are recruiting for Terberg LGV Class 1Shunter Drivers at our Bristol Depot within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.You will need to have a HGV Class 1 Licence, Current CPC and digital driving card. Contract - Full Time / Permanent Location: Bristol (BS11 0YW ) Shift Pattern: Friday- Tuesday PM. Friday 1700-0300 or Saturday-Tuesday 1400-0000. Rate of Pay- £16.63 per hour - £28.51 per hour Overtime rate; £18.71 Potential on target earning from £46,000 per annum (based on shift premiums above)Shunter Driver Benefits • 33 days annual leave • 2x Life Assurance • Company Pension • Access to the Mller Rewards discount scheme offering over 800 discounts online and in-store and the potential to make savings across grocery and clothes shopping, holidays, insurance, gifts and more • Be provided with a free corporate uniform • Free onsite secured colleague car parkingClass 1 Shunter Driver Key Skills & Experience • Terberg experience (mandatory) • HGV Class 1 Licence (mandatory) • Current CPC and digital driving card (mandatory) • No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs) • An effective team member who works well on their own initiative • Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work • Self - motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable • Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the roleClass 1 Shunter Driver Role & Responsibilities • Coordinate the onsite bay movements ensuring that all equipment is fully compliant • Puts safety first and respects all other road users. • Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly. • Conduct regular checks on all vehicles and trailers to ensure they meet the necessary safety and compliance standards. If a vehicle or trailer is not compliant defect to the workshop for repairs or maintenance. • Prioritise, assess, and control safety, health, and workplace risks.
