Lead GP – Role Overview Due to a new service commission, an exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a GP who is passionate about primary care and healthcare innovation to join the Spectrum Team. This will be a substantive full‑time or part‑time post, attracting many benefits of NHS employment, including NHS pension and time‑served inducements. Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and support to members of the prison’s healthcare team. Work with the Head of Healthcare and North West Regional Lead GP to oversee the development and delivery of GP clinical services on site. Support the delivery of an innovative, digitally enabled, future‑focused primary care model through clinical leaders in Medical Education, Clinical Substance Misuse, and Remote Clinical working. Deliver a blended model of care comprising face‑to‑face primary care and complex case care planning as part of an MDT. Qualifications Passion for the delivery of high‑quality primary care, a desire to innovate and transform models of service delivery, and a willingness to work as part of a transformative integrated provider team. Previous experience working within a secure environment is not essential; full induction and training will be provided.
