OverviewA locum position for 12 months has arisen to work in one of the largest Women’s Health Services in Scotland. NHS Lanarkshire is seeking to recruit two skilled and dynamic consultants to join our award‑winning Obstetrics and Gynaecology team.Location and ServiceThe vacancy is based at University Hospital Wishaw, which provides all inpatient obstetric and gynaecological care for the population of Lanarkshire. Maternity day care services are also provided at University Hospitals Hairmyres and Monklands, and antenatal care is provided at a large number of community Health Centres throughout the county. There are approximately 4,100 deliveries per year in the Maternity Unit and you will join a team of 12 Consultant Obstetricians.Employment DetailsThe post will have obstetric‑only components.
