Infrastructure Architect (Defence) 6 Month Initial Contract (Rolling) Active SC Clearance Required My client is a high-tech defence organisation based in Bristol. We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to support secure, high-assurance programmes. The Role This is a hands-on Infrastructure/ Technical Architecture position focused on the design of secure on-premise and cloud-based environments within a defence setting. You will play a key role in shaping and governing infrastructure solutions across secure infrastructure, ensuring compliance with defence standards and security frameworks. Essential Experience Proven experience within MoD or Defence environments Some awareness of JSP 440 Awareness of Secure by Design (SbD) principles Strong IT Infrastructure & Network background (infrastructure led focus) Technical Experience Demonstrable experience across: Enterprise storage solutions Secure networking environments Cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft / Azure) Endpoint configuration & deployment On-premise and cloud-based infrastructure design Candidate Requirements Active SC Clearance (essential no sponsorship available) Sole British National Available to work 4 days per week onsite in Bristol This is an excellent opportunity to join a cutting-edge defence programme, working on secure, mission-critical infrastructure within a highly technical team.
