We are passionate about delivering exceptional holiday experiences, creating memorable stays for our guests across the UK.If you are considering sending an application, make sure to hit the apply button below after reading through the entire description.We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance operative to join our team at Mains of Taymouth golf and country club, Aberfeldy.Job Summary:The Maintenance Team undertake the day to day maintenance of the Estate in accordance with Company policies, and in a manner which maximises the benefits of the facilities to holiday home owners and holiday guests. This position is a full time role (37.5 hours per week), working five days over 7. Accommodation is available for this role if required.Duties and Responsibilities:To assist with the maintenance of the buildings, holiday homes, grounds, fences, public areas and development sites as directed by the Estate ManagerTo note and report any work requiring attention line manager as soon as possible (e.g. burst pipes, dangerous steps, paths and services, etc.)Ensure all chargeable work undertaken is reported for invoicing in line with Company procedure and followed through approval from purchasing managerAssist with minor repairs and other maintenance activities in line with your skills and professional competence such as drain downs and sitings along with basic grass cuttingTo assist in the implementation of legal and/or site rules in a diplomatic way and reporting failure to comply (e.g. speeding vehicles, dogs not on leads etc.) and any other reasonable requests from General ManagerTo serve the public in the most courteous and efficient manner including effective handling of enquiries and complaints, ensuring issues are reported in accordance with company instructionsTo complete hot-tub checks in line with legislation and company policiesTo undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager as and when requiredTake all reasonable steps to protect the health, safety and welfare of all employees, patrons and visitors, by promoting safe working practicesComply with company policies, rules and procedures at all timesAny other duties as required by your line manager commensurate with your roleSkills Required:Experience of general maintenance work and grass cuttingExperience with the xjdpvnf use of grounds maintenance equipment and/or power toolsExperience of driving ride on mowers and the use of hand strimmersStrong interpersonal skills and a positive friendly demeanourExperience driving tractors and/or other licenses are very desirable within this roleAbility to communicate effectively and clearly with employees and customersAbility to work well in a team and contribute to team objectivesPositive, enthusiastic and flexible approach to workExcellent timekeeping and attendance recordQualifications/Experience:The right to work in the UKPrevious grounds/management experience is preferredA positive attitude with a willing to learn and improveA current full UK driving licence
