Motor Vehicle Technician Franchised Motor Dealership - Merseyside areaVan Technician opportunity here to work for a progressive and market leading company and brand !The key purpose of this role is to:Act as an expert for all service work and defined assembly and work of the utmost quality and efficiency, and accordingly promotes the brand image with respect to reliability and economy.Defined retrofitting of accessories and preservation work.Support the Systems Technicians in more extensive repair jobs on the overall system.Accountabilities:Performance of all services according to the manufacturer's instructions and according to the schedule/Service processorAll visual inspections, adjustment operations, adjustments, operating fluid changes and additions, replacement of worn equipment (e.g. brake linings)Knowledge of deviations and extraordinary wear occurrences and initiation of order expansions/feedback to customersResetting of the maintenance systemCleaning and care of the customer vehicleRepair WorkSelf-reliant performance of simple repairs of worn parts (e.g. replacement of mufflers, outside mirrors, tyres and balancing, etc.)Performance of defined, but also more extensive, assembly work and repair operations in cooperation with and/or under the supervision of systems technicians (e.g. major assembly replacement, suspension strut placement, etc.)Retrofitting and start-up of accessories and detachable body componentsAverage 40 hours per week4 on 4 off shift pattern, excluding Sundays as a non-working dayHours for days on rota are: Monday - Friday 07:30 - 20:00 and Saturday 06:30 - 17:00You will be paid 19.22 per hour, plus an enhancement payment based upon qualification level- up to 300 per month!Bonus upto 5% of annual basic salaryRewards and benefitsSuperb working conditionsCareer progressionBranded uniform for customer-facing staffFree onsite parkingRegular internal communicationsWellbeing check-insCompany pension contributionThe successful applicant will have:Driving Licence (required)Level 3 City and Guilds qualification (required)HGV Licence (preferred)If this sounds like you we would love to hear from you, please apply with an up to date CV and we will be in touch to discuss your application furtherWho are you applying to?The Solution Automotive Recruitment have been placing candidates into the UK Motor Trade since 1999.
