If you share our passion for building vibrant communities and delivering services that truly matter, wed love to hear from you.Were now looking for a Development Manager to join our dynamic team.Bring your skills, your ideas, and your driveand help us shape the future of housing in Devon.About the Development Manager roleAs a key member of our team, you will take ownership of our Development Programme and oversee all aspects of our speculative and affordable housing plans. Actively identifying and acquiring land and property to expand our portfolio of more than 4,000 homes, you will assess the feasibility of potential projects and oversee contractors and consultants to achieve best practice and best value. At the same time, we will look to you to lead and manage the development team, obtain development grant funding and liaise with local authorities, statutory bodies and our development partners, so you will require commercial acumen, along with great communication, influencing and people skills.This is a permanent, full-time position, working37 hours per week.About youExperienced in residential development from land acquisition to programme delivery, you should be a skilled project manager with deep technical, regulatory, contractual, procurement and legal knowledge. A relevant degree or membership of an appropriate professional body (MCIH, MRICS, MRIOB) would be useful, as would familiarity with social housing policy standards and regulations, we will value your initiative, drive and determination to make things happen above all.BenefitsAs an Investor in People Platinum organisation, you will be joining a company that creates a supportive high-performance culture.
