It is a newly created position offering the chance to influence commercial processes, support project planning, and help drive financial performance across major engineering projects throughout the EMEA region.If you want a commercially influential role with genuine global project exposure, this opportunity offers something rarely available in the UK market.The RoleYou will take ownership of the commercial and financial management of construction projects from early planning stages through to completion, ensuring strong cost control, contract management and margin protection.Alongside traditional Quantity Surveying duties, you will also be involved in project planning and early-stage commercial input, working closely with engineering, project delivery and senior management teams internationally.The position is primarily office based (around 70%) with travel across EMEA project locations when required.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial ManagementPrepare detailed cost estimates and project budgetsMonitor financial performance and forecast project costsIdentify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategiesTendering & ProcurementPrepare tender packages and evaluate contractor submissionsSupport contract negotiations and supplier selectionContract & Change ManagementManage contracts, variations, claims and change ordersEnsure all scope changes are commercially justified and recordedProject Planning SupportContribute commercial insight during planning and project setup stagesWork closely with engineering and delivery teams to ensure cost-effective executionSite & Stakeholder CollaborationVisit project sites across EMEA to verify progress and support valuationsLiaise with subcontractors, suppliers and international stakeholdersAbout YouWe are looking for a senior Quantity Surveyor who is comfortable operating within technically complex construction or industrial engineering environments. xjdpvnf You will ideally have:Extensive Quantity Surveying experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure or industrial projectsStrong background in contract management, budgeting and cost controlExperience working on large-scale or technically complex projectsExcellent stakeholder communication and commercial judgementStrong Excel and commercial reporting capabilityFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel internationallyA degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar is advantageous.Salary & BenefitsAnnual performance bonusAdditional Christmas bonus12% pension scheme27 days holiday plus bank holidays (33 in total)BUPA healthcare planMultiple fully funded company team events each yearStructured training and long-term career developmentOpportunity to work on global industrial engineering projectsWhy This Role Stands OutGenuine influence on how commercial processes are developedExposure to international engineering projects across EMEAStrong long-term career progression within a growing global businessExcellent pension and bonus structure rarely matched in similar roles
