Were working with an established and privately-owned Contractor who are looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their team based in Yorkshire, focusing on a variety of Building Services projects across sectors such as MOJ, Retail, Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Residential and much more.Considering making an application for this job Check all the details in this job description, and then click on Apply.This role will require you to work autonomously on projects valued from 3m - 7m M&E, they currently have 20 people across Design and Pre-Construction teams and this role will offer a relaxed entry into the role with support from an existing Senior Estimator, with and Estimator and Junior Estimator below you.This company is currently turning over 32m as of 2025 and have increased their turnover this year by 13m, with next year due to be even busier!Key responsibilities include:Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissionsQuantifying labour, materials, plant, and specialist subcontractor costsReviewing supplier and subcontractor quotationsAttending site visitsInterpreting specifications and drawingsIdentifying value engineering and cost-saving opportunitiesSupporting post-tender negotiations and project xjdpvnf handoversMaintaining accurate estimating records and cost databasesYoull be joining a company which thrives in a strong company culture, a growing team of industry professionals who continue to compete with Tier 1 contractors and there is opportunity for flexible remote working, in time, to ensure work/life balance.If you're interested please send your CV to Ben
