Monday to Friday Job Type: Full time | PermanentJob SummaryMy client is seeking a Skilled Operative to support the smooth and efficient running of a production line. This role involves assisting with line changeovers and setting up lines while ensuring all checks and paperwork are completed accurately. You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards and ensuring production runs efficiently and safely.You will also support the Multi Skilled Operative when required and ensure all activities align with company quality policies and objectives.Knowledge Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in food manufacturingUnderstanding of food hygiene and food safety standardsKnowledge of health and safety practicesAbility to work effectively as part of a teamBasic English language skillsCapability to carry out heavy lifting tasksWillingness to complete hygiene and cleaning dutiesKey ResponsibilitiesComplete all tasks in line with risk assessments and company proceduresWork safely at all times while following health and safety procedures and COSHH regulations and wearing the required PPEHandle food products while maintaining high hygiene standards and following company proceduresEnsure equipment and work areas are cleaned to required hygiene standards before productionFollow clean as you go practices ensuring work areas remain tidy and hazard freeMaximise yield by assessing product quality and reducing waste where possibleWork as part of a team to achieve daily production targets without compromising safety or qualityOperate machinery in line with training and skill levelMaintain flexibility by working across different production areasReport hazards defects and near misses to the Team LeaderEnsure all products and racks are labelled correctly to maintain xjdpvnf traceabilitySupport continuous improvement across efficiency hygiene quality and safetyComplete all required paperwork accurately and on timeCarry out monitoring checks including temperature quality weight and labelling checksEscalate production issues and support resolutionFollow Redzone and Defacto procedures and book tasks as you goCarry out product changeovers and machine set ups in line with proceduresBe ready and on the line at the start of each shiftComplete any other reasonable tasks requested by managementIf this role aligns with your skills and experience we encourage you to apply below!
