Project Manager M&E (Healthcare Estate)Please make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.Location: ReadingSalary: Up to 55,000 + PackageStart Date: ASAPWe are currently supporting a large national facilities management provider with the appointment of a Project Manager to oversee M&E works across a live hospital estate in Reading.This is a permanent opportunity, initially offered on a temporary basis for the first 3 months, providing both parties the opportunity to ensure the right long-term fit.You will play a key role in delivering a range of mechanical and electrical projects across the estate, ensuring works are carried out safely, compliantly, and with minimal disruption to critical hospital operations.The RoleYou will be responsible for managing multiple M&E projects across a live healthcare environment, ranging from lifecycle replacements and upgrades through to minor works and reactive projects.The role requires strong stakeholder management, technical understanding, and the ability to coordinate works in highly sensitive, operational environments.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging end-to-end delivery of M&E projects across the estateCoordinating mechanical and electrical subcontractors and site teamsPlanning and managing works within a live hospital environment, including shutdowns and isolationsEnsuring compliance with RAMS, permits to work, and CDM regulationsManaging project programmes, budgets, and reporting requirementsActing as the key point of contact for the client and internal stakeholdersOverseeing quality assurance, snagging, and handover processesSupporting commissioning activities and ensuring successful project completionRequirementsProven experience delivering M&E projects within healthcare or live environmentsStrong understanding of both mechanical and electrical building servicesExperience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyKnowledge of CDM regulations and xjdpvnf safe systems of workSMSTS or equivalentRelevant technical qualifications (mechanical or electrical bias preferred)Strong stakeholder management and communication skillsWhats on OfferSalary up to 55,000 per annumPermanent opportunity with a leading national FM providerInitial 3-month temporary period with long-term progressionExposure to a varied portfolio of projects within a live healthcare estateOpportunity to work within a growing and stable contract environmentIf this role is of interest, please apply or get in touch for a confidential discussion.
