Location: Moston, Manchester Salary: 15.49 per hour / 33,830 per annum + 30 per sleep Hours: Full-time, Permanent Shifts: 1 on 2 offBrook Street Social Care, in proud partnership with a respected children's residential care provider in Moston, Manchester, is recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to join their compassionate and growing team.About the Role:As a Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs in a nurturing, safe, and structured environment. You will manage and support a team of residential support workers, ensuring the highest quality of care is consistently delivered while promoting positive outcomes for the children and young people in your care.Key Responsibilities:Support the Registered Manager closely in the day-to-day running of the homeLead, mentor, and supervise a team of care staffEnsure all safeguarding, compliance, and quality standards are metSupport the development and implementation of individual care plansBuild trusting relationships with children, families, and professionalsBe part of the on-call rota and cover shifts when required Requirements:Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essentialPrevious experience in a senior, team leader or Deputy Manager role within a children's residential settingStrong leadership, communication, and organisational skillsA genuine passion for making a difference in young people's livesAbility to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shiftsEnhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo one)What's on Offer:Ongoing training and professional developmentSupportive leadership and clear progression pathwaysA chance to work for an organisation that truly values its staff and the children they care forReady to take the next step in your career and make a real difference?
