Consultant Psychiatrist – Spring Tide, CYP Eating Disorders Full Time – 10 sessions | Permanent | HoveAn opportunity to play a key role in a specialist service supporting young people with eating disorders across Sussex.Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking aConsultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatristto join theSpring Tide Intensive Therapy Programme , based at Aldrington House in Hove.Spring Tide is a Tier 4 intensive therapy programme supporting young people aged10–18 with eating disorders , including Anorexia Nervosa and Atypical Anorexia, through evidence-based treatment based on theMaudsley model .About the role As Consultant Psychiatrist within the Spring Tide programme, you will provide specialist psychiatric leadership and clinical care for young people and their families.The service accepts referrals from CAMHS teams and theSussex Family Eating Disorder Service (SFEDS)and supports young people whose needs require more intensive intervention while remaining within the community pathway.ResponsibilitiesUndertaking specialist psychiatric assessments and treatment planningProviding leadership within a multidisciplinary teamSupporting evidence-based treatment aligned withNICE guidanceWorking collaboratively with families and carersSupporting stepped care pathways between community services and Tier 4 inpatient servicesContributing to service development, governance and quality improvementProviding clinical advice to services supporting young people with eating disorders across SussexYou will work alongside a multidisciplinary team includingConsultant Psychiatrists, Systemic Family Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Nurses, Dietitians, Occupational Therapists and Assistant Psychologists .You will also be part of a widerTrust Consultant network , offering opportunities for peer support, clinical collaboration and professional development.Why join Spring Tide?Work within a specialist Tier 4 intensive therapy programmeOpportunity to shape the development of a Sussex-wide eating disorder serviceCollaborative multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based treatmentStrong links across CAMHS and specialist servicesAccess to peer networks and clinical leadership opportunitiesThis role attracts a£25,000 Recruitment and Retention Package , paid over four years:The Trust also offersrelocation support of up to £8,000(subject to policy).Why Hove?
