From baby lessons to competitive pathways (Stages 810), you'll guide swimmers of all levels to reach their goalsand have fun doing it! You'll have the potential to work across all five of our welcoming sites in the London Borough of Hounslow, supporting one of the biggest and most successful swimming programmes in the region.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver dynamic, engaging, and safe lessons following Swim England guidanceCreate lesson plans and update weekly pupil assessmentsTake class registers and ensure all GDPR processes are followedSet up and manage equipment throughout each sessionModel Swim England Codes of Ethics & ConductSupport safeguarding procedures & escalate concerns appropriatelyMentor Level 1 Assistant Teachers when requiredJump into the water when sessions need in-water supportExperience and Qualifications RequiredSEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming, or STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming and STA Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming qualification Experience of working in a comparable role.Experience of delivering first class customer service to a diverse client base.Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and procedure, and the ability to exercise these in the workplace.Excellent communication skills, including listening, questioning, and delivering effective feedback, and the ability to quickly build trust and rapport with customers, children, their parent, and school officials.About Lampton LeisureLampton Leisure is community with health and wellbeing at our core.
