We are seeking a talented Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our client's prestigious team This role involves delivering high-quality endoscopy services, including both gastroscopy and colonoscopy, primarily under local anesthesia with or without sedation. Day-to-Day of the Role:Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures to referred patients. Adhere to the British Society of Gastroenterologist guidelines and manage the collection and submission of Global Rating Scale and patient outcome data. Assist with incident and complaint root cause analysis reporting to the Medical Director and the Hospital Director. Validate discharge information and pathology results, ensuring they are sent to the necessary parties, such as GPs or local MOTs. Required Skills & Qualifications:Eligible for a GMC License to Practice. Experience in delivering gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures. Strong adherence to clinical guidelines and standards. Ability to participate in clinical audits, training, and quality assessment activities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multi-professional team.
